Spring has officially sprung and I couldn’t be more excited about it. This Baltimore girl has been longing for warm weather, spring blooms and sunny trips to the beach. This will be our first Spring owning our Charleston home and I am so looking forward to all family trips and girls weekends that will be spent in our sweet labor of love this season. My family and I vacationed in Charleston recently and we had the time of our lives. It truly has become home to all of us. It was incredible to venture around Charleston while the city as a whole was in bloom and coming alive. The trees were vibrant with new life, the fragrance of wisteria lingered in the air and people were out and about enjoying it all. Whether you prefer real greenery and flowers or artificial botanicals, I think we can all agree that they have a way of completing a space and bringing life to it as well. I love real flowers, but I also love mixing in faux florals and stems into my home as well. There are obvious benefits to artificial greenery and the #1 benefit to me personally is you don’t have to keep up with a watering cycle or try to remember watering them at all. Don’t have a green thumb? Perfect. The stems below are for you! Another great thing about faux botanicals is the amount of money you save. I love decorating my home for Spring and also love the fashion and accessories that come with warm and breezy Spring weather. I have included lots of hosting and entertaining essentials for holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day as well as serveware for everyday gatherings. Spring is the prime time for outdoor entertaining. The days are warm and the evenings are cool. Leaves are one again on the trees and colorful flowers are in bloom. What better time to gather all your girlfriends for wine on the front porch in the evening? I love hosting friends and family and love it even more when we can sit together under string lights on the back patio until the late hours of the night laughing, eating and enjoying one another’s company. The days are longer and the sun hangs around a little longer, which means more daylight for kiddos to play outside too!
