High And Low Budget: Home Decor
If you have been following along for even a short time, you have probably noticed I am all about finding a good deal. I love quality finds that don’t break the bank and I am always on the search for designer looks for less. There are some items I will happily splurge on, and then there are others that I don’t necessarily care to invest a of of money into. In my home you find find a full array of price points. When it comes to splurging on higher priced items, I like to keep in mind the things I value. For some, you may deeply value art and beauty so getting a piece of art commissioned by a local artist is where you like to invest your resources. For others, you may deeply value family dinners so your dining room may be where the bulk of your decorating budget goes. Either way, I believe that creating a beautiful home that you love should be—and can be—attainable for every budget. I have gathered home finds from many of my favorite retailers and small businesses. In this blog post you will find stunning home finds from Target, Ballard Designs, Caitlin Wilson, Amazon, Serena and Lily, Etsy, Home Goods, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and many more. While putting together the collages for this series, I was truly amazed at some of the products I found and I think you will be too! Regardless of your budget, I hope you find items you love and items that will make your house feel a little more like home.
Home Finds For Every Budget
When I first released this series, these 3 collages quickly became the most-loved on Instagram. If you aren’t already following my page, I invite you to join the Instagram family so you can be the first to see new content, exclusive finds in my Instagram stories and the release of fun projects my team and I are working on. Would you believe me if I told you majority of the home accessories shown below are from Amazon? A few noteworthy Amazon finds include this stunning gold table clock, white dipped vase, ruffle ceramic decorative bowl and the most realistic faux florals and greenery like this silk olive tree and beautiful hydrangea arrangement. And one of the best parts? Amazon Prime shipping. There’s nothing better than all your home finds arriving straight to your mailbox or front porch in a few short days. Shopping from home is the absolute best.
High And Low Budget: Can you guess which is which?
High? Low? Can you tell which items are pricier and which ones are bargains? I spy Walmart, Target and Amazon finds in the collages below. Honestly, creating this series was fun for me because as I was searching through new products I was trying to guess the price and whether or not it was designer. I would humbly like to admit, I got a lot of prices wrong—which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Many of the items I thought were higher-end were more affordable than I would have ever guessed. I released this content last week, so I wanted to share a few of the home finds that everyone is talking about and purchasing for themselves. If we were to break things down into categories, then the Fleur de Tole Wall Décor would take the gold for the art category and this gorgeous framed art for under $60 would be a close second place. When it comes to furniture, a few favorites have been the zuma white upholstered bed, this under $300 coffee table, velvet accent chair with tassels, round accent table, and of course this woven door console—what a beauty! For home accents and accessories, everyone has raved about these bamboo candlesticks, potted faux magnolia stems and this versatile sweater weave mud room basket. Some of my favorite finds shown below include this dreamy rattan accent chair, the Eden Garden printed rug from Rifle Paper Co., this hand-carved wooden beaded mirror, white agave on acrylic stand and these cane candleholders/vases.
High And Low Budget Pillow Covers
One can never have too many pillows, right? Spring is right around the corner which means it is the prime time to refresh your accent pillows. Out with the warm Fall tones and holiday pillows and in with all the blue, sage, and floral patterns. If I had to choose one, the “Elsie’s Garden” pillow would be my current favorite, however, all the timeless floral prints have my heart. If you are needing a solid color pillow, but still want some rich texture, then I recommend this sage velvet pillow or even this ivory embroidered pillow. High And Low Budget Lighting
Lighting makes all the difference—truly. Lighting has the ability to brighten up a room, create a unique ambiance for a space and lighting can also make a statement stylistically. Take a look at some of my personal favorite lighting solutions. Here you will find chandeliers for entryways, pendants to hang over a kitchen island, table lamps for your bedroom and so many more stunning pieces. I recently discovered this willow leaf flush mount and it quickly became a new favorite of mine. If you are on the hunt for a table lamp for your living room or bedroom, I love this affordable white and gold lamp and will never get over how preppy and sophisticated this scalloped table lamp is.
Blue And White Home
Will I ever stop posting blue and white home finds? Probably not. This classic color combination has been around forever and I foresee it staying around. Whether you have a coastal home or you are dipping your toes in the much-loved grandmillienal style, these high and low budget finds are for you. Blue and white invites a preppy and sophisticated look into a space while also bringing with it feelings of peace and rest. Many of the larger furniture finds shown below are from Caitlin Wilson, but don’t be surprised when you realize several are also from Amazon. This white cabinet with cane doors is for those with a higher budget, but I also found this budget friendly look-a-like from Target. I actually own and love the blue velvet sofa—can you guess where it’s from?? Many of the lighting finds shown in this section are from—you guess it—Amazon!
