Hi, friends! I’m Mere, a single mom to two little boys living in Maryland.
I started sharing online in 2019 as a creative outlet, never imagining it would grow into the community and business it is today. These days, you’ll find me sharing everything from affordable fashion and beauty favorites to everyday essentials, home finds, and all the things that make life a little easier (and prettier).
I’m in a whole new chapter of life—raising my boys, running my own business, navigating life in my 40s, and turning our new house into a home. I love sharing the beautiful parts, the messy parts, and plenty of great finds along the way.
My goal has always been simple: to feel like the friend who finds the good stuff first and tells you exactly what’s worth buying. I’m so happy you’re here. Thanks for following along!
MERE’S STORY
H O W it all began
I was born and raised in Maryland and after college I went on to have a successful career in health care. In 2019 I created my Instagram account (at the time @preppykids) as a creative outlet to share children’s clothing and items that I love. I found so much joy in sharing my favorite products and helping others shop that in 2020 I took a leap of faith and quit my health care job to purse what is now meredithhudkins.com full-time.
Every morning I am beyond grateful to wake up and spend my time doing this job that I love. I would never have imagined the wonderful, supportive friends that I’ve made along the way and the talented brands I’ve had the opportunity to work with. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here, for making this dream a reality, and for your continuous support.
