My Amazon Purchases In 2022
I can hardly believe 2022 has already come and gone—what a year it was! Whether you have been following along on social media for years or you are new to my corner of the web—thank you for all your love and support this past year! It has been an exciting year in the Hudkins’ family for sure. One of our favorite memories was purchasing a home in Charleston. We have loved making it “home” and we are so excited for all the memories to be made in our sweet South Carolina home. While there have been so many beautiful moments and exciting ventures, there have also been some not-so-fun surprises. Starting in November, you probably read about the health issues I began having with kidney stones—not a fun time at all! After lots of pain, countless kidney stones, and multiple surgeries, we are hoping to figure out the reasoning behind my body producing so many stones and praying that all the kidney stones stay in 2022 and are gone for good! Through it all, I am so thankful. So thankful for my family, friends and this amazing community. You all have celebrated alongside me and have encouraged me and prayed with me through the harder times. So, thank you from the bottom on my heart.
My Tried And True Amazon Finds
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times— I love Amazon. They truly have it all! I am honestly still amazed at the products I find on Amazon. From home decor, quality furniture, and trending fashion finds to surprisingly helpful gadgets, household essentials, the best beauty and health products and everything in between. I just can’t get enough! In this blog post I am sharing all my Amazon purchases from 2022. As you can see, Amazon really is my go-to. As you browse through this post you will see that I really do majority of my shopping through Amazon. Out of toilet paper? Amazon. New clothes for my kiddos? Amazon. Decorating my home? Amazon. Christmas shopping? Amazon. It’s hard to beat the prices and Amazon Prime Shipping!
In 2022 we bought our dream home in Charleston, South Carolina and with that came lots of decorating along with purchasing everyday essentials like mattresses, cookware, cleaning supplies and all those must-haves that every home needs. We ordered several Casper Mattresses because 1) they are so comfortable and 2) they come compressed in a box which makes getting them inside your home much, MUCH easier. They are pretty light weight so you can simply carry or scoot the box to whichever room it’s going in and then remove it from the box. I’m telling you, the invention of a bed in a box was a genius idea and is definitely a game changer when it comes to mattress shopping. We are steadily decorating and buying all the basics for our vacation home, but there were several items that we had to purchase asap so we could function in our home. First and foremost we had to buy all the kitchen necessities like non-stick baking sheets (heres 2 for under $40, dishwasher-safe pans, flatware, these adorable drinking glasses, cooking utensils and then all the cleaning essentials like dish soap, dishwasher detergent and my absolute favorite sponges. You don’t realize how much you use on a daily basis until get in a new home and want to cook and meal! My 2 favorite kitchen purchases are my Vitamix Blender (currently on SALE) and coffee maker—they’re everyday essentials in the Hudkins household!
I love making a house a home. Buying furniture that reflects your personality is one step to the process of homemaking, but adding art, decorative accents, photos of your family, and rich textiles really complete and enhance a home. One of my favorite pieces of furniture i purchased from Amazon in 2022 was this coastal white writing desk for my home office. I absolutely adore it in the white option, but it also comes in a natural wood variation that is just a beautiful! Here is the link to the rattan desk chair that I ordered to pair with my writing desk. Textiles are my favorite things to shop for—they just add so much texture and comfort to a space. We purchased these sage green velvet curtains and they are absolutely dreamy and add so much richness to a space. I also found several accent pillows like these cream white velvet pillows for my living room and this leopard trim lumbar pillow. If you’re on the hunt for pillow inserts then I highly recommend these down-filled pillow inserts. I have ordered these pillow inserts time and time again—they are the best! For our home in Charleston I purchased this coral tabletop accent, a coastal coffee table book and this stunning ruffle decorative bowl.

From birthday party supplies and decorations to back-to-school clothes and supplies, Amazon has it all! I can’t tell you how many pairs of shoes I bought this years from Amazon. We have two boys and let me tell you—they go through shoes! If they aren’t growing out of their shoes, they are getting every penny’s worth by doing all the little boy things outside! These Saucony shoes are some of our favorites as well as these machine washable toddler shoes. We also ordered these adorable light blue rain boots for our 2 boys. I can’t write about children’s fashion and not mention these super comfy pajamas for boys and girls. Both of my boys love them and have them in multiple colors—they’re so soft and affordable! When it comes to school shopping you can probably guess that Amazon is my go-to for it. From leak-proof and dishwasher safe Bentgo lunch boxes to boxes and boxes of Crayola Crayons— you can check everything off the list on Amazon. I also love to buy educational materials to keep at home for my little ones. This addition and subtraction workbook has been great for my son.In 2022 we had a Paw Patrol themed birthday party and I was able to order all the party essentials like these cute Paw Patrol plastic table clothes and these party gift bags/party favor bags. Let me also just say, Amazon was a life saver this year for Christmas shopping. So many great deals. Really. Really fast shipping. Seriously, what would we do without Amazon? They carry the best brands that you can’t always find in-store. They also carry brands you can find at higher-end stores/websites…only the prices on Amazon are a better AND you get Prime Shipping.

6) Eye Massager with Heat Compression - This will change your life—especially if you tend to get migranes.
8) Cheers Restore - This little supplement will make you feel better after a night out with your girlfriends. It helps support healthy liver function.
9) Intensive Foot Repair - Take care of your feet, ladies!
Some of my favorite articles of clothing and accessories are from Amazon—truly. This Fall and Winter I bought so many comfy sweaters, jackets and blazers on Amazon. This half zip pullover was one of my favorite purchases along with this Amazon Essentials lightweight puffer jacket ( I have it in light pink). If you’re an athleisure type of gal, then you’re going to want these high-waisted joggers and squat-proof leggings. When it comes to shoe purchases, I will say that these white sneakers get the gold. The award for favorite heels is a tie between these stunning gold bow heels and these black pleated bow knot platform heels. Right before Christmas I bought a pair of these ankle high leather boots and they are also an Amazon win! If you’re on the hunt for new slippers this winter then I recommend these plush slippers—they’re a great price and so comfortable! These gold plated sterling silver diamond earrings are one of my favorite jewelry purchases this year—I actually bought them in 3 different carats so I could wear them for every single occasion. A few of my other fav accessories include these posh sunnies and this $15 tennis bracelet.
You can find a little bit of everything in this category from Christmas home decor to popular electronics and gadgets. You will also find some random goods like my favorite clear window bird feeder, the BEST beach blanket, handy power tools for around the home and our favorite outdoor inflatable movie screen for those warm summer nights. Do you ever buy snacks or your groceries online? I do! My kids can’t get enough of these fig bar snacks and I can’t get enough of these sparkling prebiotic sodas.
