Every year around this time, we get to work making cookies. We have to feed Santa, after all. These cookie recipes have been in our family since my mother was a child. They bring back the fondest memories or my grandmother who I miss desperately. I will say these are not traditional royal icing sugar cookie recipes. In fact, most would see these as standard every day cookies! I agree with you! At Christmas time I get particularly sappy when making them but they are delicious 365. I am so excited to share them all with you today! I am sharing 3 cookie recipes total:

  1. Grandmother Mahoney’s Oatmeal Cookies

  2. Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

  3. Chocolate Chip Cookies

So hard to pick a favorite of mine. I would say it is a toss up between Grandmother Mahoney’s and Cinnamon Sugar…
