Valentine’s Day, it seems like you either love it or hate it. Personally, I love it! I’ll take any chance to celebrate the ones I love and create special memories with my family. Each year we kick off Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped waffles using our favorite waffle recipe and a basket full of goodies for the boys. Mike and I are also hoping to sneak off for a little date night at some point on Valentine’s weekend, which I’m really looking forward to! In addition to gifts and traditions, I love adding pops of pink and red around our home to really get in the spirit. Whether you’re shopping for Valentine’s gifts for family or friends, adding Valentine’s decor to your home, or looking for the perfect Valentine’s gift for your children to bring to school, I’ve got you covered!

Valentine’s Gifts for Family & Friends

Valentine’s Day doesn’t just have to be for your significant other. I love using this special day as an opportunity to celebrate all of my loved ones - grandparents, parents, siblings, and friends. One of my favorite Valentine’s gifts for family members is a personalized “What I love about You” book, which allows you or your children to fill in the blanks to share what you love about another family member. You could pair one of these personalized books with a floral picture frame for the perfect Valentine’s gift for family!

Valentine’s Gifts for Children

Hands down, my favorite people to buy Valentine’s gifts for are children. Nothing beats the excitement on a child’s face when they receive a gift and it doesn’t have to be anything big or fancy. For my kids’ Valentine’s gifts for school, I love pairing one of these personalized Valentine’s cards with a small corresponding children’s gift. You could gift mini footballs, fun costume masks, a pack of crayons, and more options that pair perfectly with the personalized cards for an affordable and easy school Valentine’s gift.

Valentine’s Gifts for Women

Mothers, sisters, friends and more, there are so many special women to celebrate on Valentine’s Day. No matter the person, I always believe spending time with someone is the best gift you can give. I think planning a spa day, lunch date, or even scheduling time together to binge watch your favorite TV show are all wonderful ways to celebrate! But, if you’re looking to purchase Valentine’s gifts for women, I’ve rounded up some of my favorites for you. The perfect pink lipgloss, soft pink slippers, fun wine glasses, adorable heart earrings and more, there’s something for every woman on your list. And of course, don’t forget to treat yourself!

Valentine’s Home Decor

The time between Christmas and spring can be a confusing time for home decor. It’s still winter, but you’re tired of all of the dark fall and winter colors. I’ve found that adding pops of pink and red to your home adds a fun touch for Valentine’s month! You could add a pink throw blanket and some white faux flowers to your living room, a pink floral wreath to your front door, or red hand towels in your kitchen. I also love decorating children’s rooms or playrooms with a fun heart garland. It’s not necessary to go all out and change every room in your home, but I do suggest adding a little Valentine’s Day decor to even one room in your home. I think you’d be surprised at how much it can brighten a long winter’s day!
