Hello Cooler Days
Okay, maybe cooler days haven’t officially arrived, but I know they are right around the corner (especially for us Northerners). I have thoroughly enjoyed Spring and Summer this year. I have gone on several “girl trips” to Charleston (here’s a Charleston Guide for your next trip) and have spent much needed family time at our home in Charleston, South Carolina in the recent months. I will be the first to say I love the Spring and Summer. There’s nothing quite like going on vacation and spending all day in your swimsuit at the beach or pool. What’s equally as amazing is finding the perfect breezy dress and sandals to stroll around your vacation town in. I will miss warm days filled with sunshines, but at this point I am ready to say “bye bye” to the summer heat and hello to chilly days, layered outfits and evenings by the fire with friends. I know in the Southern states it’s hard to imagine wearing cozy layers right now (it was 111 degrees this past week where my friend lives in Alabama!), but I stay strong friends, cooler days are on their way! It’s hard to believe we are already more than halfway through August, but we are! The first official day of Fall is September 23rd, but hopefully Fall weather will be here even sooner. Don’t wait for cooler days to get here before you begin shopping for this year’s trendy Fall fashion finds (or Autumn home decor) because I have already seen new arrivals sell out!

Curated Outfits For Autumn
From the overall cozy feel Autumn brings, to the smell of pumpkin bread baking in the oven and the sight of fall decor taking over all the little nooks and crannies of your home—what’s not to love about fall? I say this with every changing season, but I’ll say it again, how has this year flown by so quickly? We are more than halfway through August which means fall is upon us. School is starting and life is finding a new rhythm again. Before you know it, it will be time for Friday night football games, bonfires, fall festivals and families gathering together for Thanksgiving. With the change of seasons comes a change in one’s wardrobe. I am sad to tuck away my swimsuits, summer dresses, sandals and breezy outfits, but I will admit that I am so looking forward to crisp autumn air and the chunky sweaters, boots and layered looks that come with it. I am sharing all my favorite Fall fashion finds as well as wardrobe inspiration for that sometimes awkward transitional period between Summer and Fall.
