Plate Wall Finds
Have you seen them popping up everywhere? My IG feed has been filled with the most gorgeous plate walls lately and I am creating my own in my kitchen as part of our renovation! I have spent the last week scouring the internet for the prettiest plates and I hope my sharing them with you can save you lots of time and energy!
Because they tend to be the most popular, I rounded up blue and white plates first. These are of varying sizes and price points.
More of a blush and sage fan? I have just the thing! I absolutely love these pretty plates and they would be gorgeous on a plate wall!
So you have your plates, but how do you hang them? I find two options particularly easy. The first is these metal wire hangers. They’re from Amazon and I like that you can see the gold peek out on the front of the plate. Here is what they look like from the back:
Here is the second option and these are the ones I will likely opt for because they work for most size plates. The ones above need to be sized more specifically to the individual plate. These stick on the back and have an easy hanger attached.
Want to know how to space, design a template for your wall? Do yourself a favor and purchase a roll of brown craft paper the length of your desired design. That way you can actually measure and lay you’re plates out on the floor which makes it so much easier. Once you have all of your plates laid out the way you like, tract around each plate/platter. Then once you tape your template to the wall all you need to do is hammer and hang!
